I can tell you rn this is the case for a lot of major stores: Home Depot, Target, Walmart, etc because the risk of an employee getting hurt or the criminal being injured beyond reason is a lawsuit risk for the company

Hell most of them can’t even put their hands on people where they work at. That man could of been thinking about paying his bills. There are cases of security guards getting involved with stuff like domestic violence and losing their jobs. Damned if you damned if you don’t. Regardless of that he should of intervened. Don’t think he would of got fired in this case

My g, human life > any f***ing job. This mentality of losing mind made things being of any more importance than a human life. There is no excuse for it, other than they were afraid for their own lives, which in itself is cowardly as well.
And this is not an attack on you by any means, it's just that this state of mind is very problematic, that's all.
Oh I agree with you, dude was scared and that was evident from the way they shut the door and he wasn’t even bothering to go check on her. He should of tried to do something, everyone who saw it should of.
Personally, I would have tried to intervene but I don’t think that the security guard should be demonized. He could be reliant on that job to put food on his family’s table and was thinking about them. He was wrong but he’s not the bad guy in this scenario. The fat menace to society who did the attack is
