outside of Ye, Sean was keeping the lights on for that label, lets not do this

what does this even mean really, good music went to s*** when Sean was still on the label because Ye is the label & he neglected everyone who wasn’t Push

    That song is so ass

  • Cole World did exactly what it was supposed to do. At least 3-4 big hits that had big buzz on campuses/highschools, a handful of his greatest songs ever and big commercial features to get his name out there. KTT/hip hop media just hated that album cause they expected another Warm Up. Nicewatch song still ass, though

    Dre literally changed GKMC lmfao

He didn't change s***, Kendrick made different versions of that album he just knew what was gonna work and what wasn't because Kendrick just has a musical ear so after signing to a major label he knew what direction to go in, Dre only mixed like 1 song on the album he had no real input, it was literally all Kendrick's ideas, the label literally tried to force Lady Gaga on a song and he said no
Labels only care about hit records and selling music, if you aren't willing to sell out to some extent in order to make more accessible music that will reach the masses there's no reason to sign to a major label
If Cole put out FNL instead of Cole World his career would've looked worse today, probably would've been where KRIT is right now
Kendrick had to make hits for his debut also only difference is that Kendrick was just a better songwriter than Cole

I don’t think so either? (Besides the money dispute. But that’s my business and I don’t know anything about it)

At least to my eyes, Ye and Sean sold a lot of records, made a lot of money, and made a bunch of good songs together

So to this day I’m not sure why Ye went on drink champs, dissed Sean, held up the tombstone and made up a story about Sean working for the democrats

well he thinks Sean’s music sucks & I agree but he didnt do him like Hov did Cole, he gave Sean the same support Wayne gave Drake

the engineer of the album literally said

“when Dr. Dre pulled up, we started from scratch and built the album back out front to back. There’s a different version of GKMC only we the homies got before Dre and it’s a classic”

so take your lil essay and relax my nigga, I’ll trust the people who actually worked on the album lmfao

nahhhh Ye definitely helped Sean but he was also limiting him at the same time, Sean’s own words. he said Ye would take his singles or feature on the singles for the album after he’d hear them which woulda kinda bother Sean

like he had to force the nigga to not get on IDFWU after he already forced himself onto Blessings after already saying before that “All Your Fault” gotta be on this album

U gotta be retharded because this literally proves what I just said, "Dre pulled up" meaning he had to make a more accessible version of that album that the label could actually support and put money behind instead of an album that only blogs will gas up like FNL or S80

GOOD Music literally had the culture in their view for an entire summer 3 years after what I just mentioned

ya’ll overhyping this “collapse” Sean had nothing to do with Kanye crashing out and not paying Teyana/070. Good was doing fine, even about to add Pop Smoke. y’all chatting

idk why you gotta use offensive language, but okay lmfao

no, it speaks directly to “Dre did nothing for Kendrick” that you just proved he did by giving him direction to make a more accessible album and putting resources behind him

I can’t have the limiting bs when this guy had features on songs out the gate people don’t touch in their career, of course ye did that though that’s how he is, but he’s gave Sean a lot of his time as well, Ye had so many talented people signed that he never gave the time of day, you can’t make that accusation about him related to Sean

I’m just quoting Sean and how he felt in real time experiencing it all

me and you are observers, I like believing the artists lol. idk how I can just not hear a nigga say “all that help was limiting” cause it was all forced to a degree according to Sean

like Ye crashed on him for wanting Ass as his first single. and that s*** was a hit. limiting
