Hirokazu Kore-eda is releasing two movies this year: “Sheep in the Box,” which has already been picked up by Neon for U.S. release, and “Look Back,” based on the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto (“Chainsaw Man”).
Kore-eda has now seemingly set up his next film and is teaming up with Searchlight Pictures on an English-language project set to star Eddie Redmayne. Plot details are unknown at this time for the untitled feature, which will also be written by Kore-eda, with Jonathan King and Ash Sarohia joining Redmayne as producers.
