And what reforms do you propose

Are you and your family the last remnants of the monarchy? Did your family run away during the revolution and lose all their money and status? Is this why you are mad? Or are you mad because your white friends laugh at you when you claim to be white?

Well, let me tell you something.

I was raised agnostic as my family left Iran due to the regime. I didn’t have much friends, and the only people who showed real love to me I suppose, was two Shia extremist twins who support the regime, in my first year of high school. They were a year above me.

I grew close with them but then I slowly grew distant to them because one of them often showed homophobic, anti-semitic, and blatantly racist tendencies. They also constantly broke most of the rules of their religion aside from not eating pork or doing d****.

Although I plead with the more toxic one that I was agnostic and I don’t believe in any religion, he made me pray with him at his mosque when we were supposed to go to his gym. I was very uncomfortable.

I finally cut them off in the beginning of 2019. As for the toxic one out of the twins? He masquerades as a super left wing liberal against zionism, although he has made several holocaust jokes and blatantly denies the amount of people killed, under the guise of being Pro-Palestine. He defended Trump from his sexual allegations only out of sexist spite against Hilary. His professors for the program love him.

The university I go to has a very strong socialist/communist wing, but thankfully most of them are smart enough to support the people of Iran against the regime. They actually are more focused on this issue moreso than the anti-imperialist aspects because hello, sir, I am a f***ing Canadian from Toronto. We have a strong Iranian population here because 2-4 million of us left because of the regime, and that doesn’t account for the kids they’ve raised.

I hate Trump as much as anybody else, but when it comes to my homeland, who is bleeding, and pleading for their voice to be heard because of how much the regime cuts them off and pushes them back down, I won’t mind him helping out if he’s just trying to spin this as him being some sort of hero just to get votes on election year.

As for Israel, I only speak from the standpoint of how the regime cares more for the people of Palestine over their own, for the name of some
enforced religion on their people. As do the people of Iran when they refuse to step on the flags.

So don’t be surprised if I come off as arrogant or rude, because my feelings concerning this issue are much more severe and deeper than your “anti-imperialism” worries.

We’re actually pretty well off, I’m off the s***s half the time and I have a good circle of friends after some cleansing, and I’m aspiring to be a filmmaker but I’m also kind of comfortable where I am too.

We live a good life here. We just want the family we left behind to have one too.
