I’m looking at buying Krk classic rockit 7 monitors at 200 bucks. Seems like a good price no? Anyone with knowledge have any insight as to what I may want/am looking for? I’ve worked on some SHART speakers before so this would be light years of an upgrade. Lmk, maybe cheaper options, maybe those Krks aren’t really fly at all, lmk

I think KRKs may be a bit overrated but do you research on other brands given the budget you have to play with.

You don’t understand tho, I’ve worked on CRAP speakers. I’m positive these krks would up my game crazy. Did some research and idk if you have any input, but the krks for 200 sounds like the move for me.

What size are you getting?
Have you researched frequency response of other brands I that same price range?

Classic 7” krks. Idk anything about frequency response tbh all I know is I had terrible speakers and these seem to be a serious upgrade. TBH

I'd consider the Kali LP-6v2 althought its at a slightly higher price point. Also check the JBLs or some of the entry level Adam Audio stuff at your budget. KRKs mad overrated tbh.

I dont doubt you need an upgrade or anything op but worth mentioning that good room treatment can make a massive beneficial difference once youve got decent speakers
