How long does it take to get the bonus? Might apply and finesse that extra then dip
Think you gotta stay on for 3 months at least
Nodoubt,
https://www.amazon.jobs/en/business_categories/business-corporate-development
^says like 60 openings
I'm not sure if they post everything there
But I know they post alot on LinkedIn as well G
( Google job search feature: Amazon corporate jobs-->in the module it should show positioned posted sourced from multiple sites. But probably most will be LinkedIn)

Tbh perfect work for a college student, esp one on campus.
another poster mentioned how individuals over 22 should do something aside from Amazon, and I honestly think that’s a fair assessment
Ur rite. Just burnt down the entire office and the devil check they pay me along with it.
@op f*** Amazon cuh, let's create DawgChasers
Idk what it is yet but we can make it 💪🏾
naw im still a #sakchaser. currently trying to find another income, just not there.
quittin on payday, my man
that break s*** b a mindfuck tho
& That truck ain't no f***ing joke. & It's no women around
I hadda get headphones n sum music goin to make s*** less depressing. U really gotta get innur head and create a whole different world or else that s*** is trash.
I used to work a job like Amazon but we got paid more. We lifted a lot more but I was making like 27/hr
Music was banned but we all had AirPods to keep us going. The crew I worked with was great tho.
But in these kinda jobs you really gotta learn to separate your mind from the job and you’ll be golden, especially if you ain’t got no good paying jobs around you.
They let y'all have headphones + phones too? Yo my location w****d tf out of us when I was there then
Nah this was a Home Depot warehouse That s*** was 10x worse man, they had us lifting paint cans in packs of 2's back to back to back, mad heavy tools, heavy wood and all. I was geeked when they ended my assignment
Just resigned. Considered finessing a lil but niggas get audited. I’m prob go back once it get warm out. Every shift was like walking into a physical depression. how the hell we got 5 min left on break by the time we get to the break room
i feel like something been lifted off me
Physical depression is a perfect way to describe it, man.
The warehouse experience depends 100% on your coworkers. If everyone is on the same page and busting their ass to get everything completed they’ll be good and it helps when you have cool people to talk to and, well, moan with. There is no family type work bond like at manual labor places.
But if half the staff is lazy, slow, needs constant supervision, quitting, or worst drama queens then yeah you’re in for a miserable time.

Hell yeah I swear I put my s*** in the microwave at like 11:02 for like 3 mins
Before it's even down to 30 seconds the clock already says 11:27
S*** is literally a time paradox whenever you're not working.

its ok bro, look for other warehouse work. a smaller company will have a smaller operation that's less taxing on your body
just an idea tho, since you did resign. i think you can re apply back to amazon after 60 or 90 days. next time you apply (if you do), just do part time at amazon if you want
my friend does his full time job, then on weekends he has his amazon shifts. whats cool is if he decides to call off his saturday /sunday shift, he just looks for additional 3-4 hour shifts during the night on the weekdays. like he might work his day job 8-4 and then he'll sign up to work a 7-10 or 7-11 shift the same night at amazon.
i think the job is much more tolerable in smaller doses like that. the full time, 10 hour shifts or whatever you were working, is just too much of a drag

see if you get a bonus for a part time position, stay away from full time, imo
Damn b we’re lazy for not wanting to move nonstop, lifting heavy packages for 4+ hours with little to no breaks at all. Gotta love bootlickers. And it’s always the mfs that never stepped a foot in them warehouses that have the most to say. If these companies can’t keep people and are always hiring, maybe they’re the issue and not the people.
speak that s***
I just got hired at Amazon. tomorrow is day 2 of training
this thread is making me even more nervous lol
I went to a shift worked it for like 2 months. I woke up at 12 midnight drove an hour just to work until 12 noon just about. Awful terrible depressing rote, breaks are trash.

I was a delivery driver for Amazon for a bit.
That s*** was f***ing ass.
I was clocking in over 15k steps a day easy.
Pissing in bottles and s***.
Delivering at night in the hood or the woods is not fun at all.
If you went too slow they'd get on your ass.
If you were too fast they'd send you to help someone else.
So you had to find a perfect balance.
Your basically f***ed if they send you to a location with no stores.
Always had to pack a lunch that would have too last me 10+ hrs

Idk why anyone would work at Amazon unless it’s corporate. Corporate pays CAKE. They just increased salaries too. If you’re smart, go work for Amazon corporate. And make sure to know their principles

i think the people working amazon warehouse are not the type to work amazon corporate
