I grew up with friends who came from money. Their homes were massive. They ended up becoming very racist a******s once we got into high school though. The typical rich c***brats.
niggas talking about all this security, I just wanna know what having basic healthcare is like lmfao.
somewhat
lived w/ my mom up until we were 9 and were in between poor and lower middle class. moved to live w/ my dad after that who was def middle class - had most of my needs provided for as far as food, shelter, money, transportation, etc.
there’s good and bad that came w/ both lifestyles. wasn’t forced to get a job or anything and i was an only child living w/ my pops, so i got a lot of time to focus on my craft and passions. at the same time tho, i feel like that’s affected my work ethic and didn’t really do s*** to prepare me for adulthood.
My mom makes like 50k, dad makes like 80k, and my step pops drives trucks
I went to private school in Baltimore and never have really hurt for anything vacations, etc
My moms side of the family is very affluent and my grandma owns 80 acres of land in West Virginia.
I would say I grew up upper middle class, but I’ve never really had anything handed to me. Im a year away from commissioning as an officer in the army and I payed for this through rotc scholarship/national guard pops told me he worked for his so I gotta work for mine too
Both of my aunts on my mom side are kinda rich (they married white men with money+their own, and my moms whole side of the fam is very light black and could pass so you know what kinda family they come from)
My cousins are some d*** heads tho. Snobby. Whole side of the fam is
No, but I’m working on creating generational wealth for my family right now
real
i guess i technically came from money, my dad was selling cocaine and made a s***load of money from the 80s to the mid 00s.
all that money went out the window when i turned like 7 or 8 though and we were dead broke
def upper middle class
super blessed
still had problems within the house but never had to worry about my parents not being able to afford food etc
always pushed me to be great in school too and now im borderline upper middle class at 22
parents always gave me perspective too so i dont take how blessed i am for granted; ik most ppl dont get to have the childhood i had so ill never complain about that s***
