i think to understand what post trap means got to understand what post means for music

the word post was created by people familiar with and reacting or responding to the original genre (punk, grunge, rock etc). Post rock is downplaying the lead singer or removing it all together for used guitars as much for sound and tone as for riffs. Same with post punk which takes punk but adds non rock influences to the song to add more complexity to the genre (ie why it stayed around longer compared to post itself)

trap is similar predicament when the genre as it is, is very basic. However the genre has potential to flourish if artists want to experimental like how thug was 14 to 15

also the tag post is more of critic more then artists itself
