can't remember if it was @DAVIDP , @GreedyFatApe or @Water_Giver that tried to put me on, but his music was aiight. I should've automatically gravitated towards his music because he's a harlem native and part of the blog era, but it just didn't click like that with me.

I was never a huge fan but did fux with some projects here n there from 2012 to 2015ish.
Was def a product of the era of blog/online mixtape Rap.
Imo a lot of "weed rap" hasnt aged well either imo since weed became legal, but his KONY tape is probably the main one i listened to.
His feats n tracks with ASAP Mob, Mac Miller, Pro Era & TDE were usually fire too tho. Kinda weird how he was a Rapper majorly in the mix with everyone in the huge underground n freshly popped off new mainstream, but he was always kinda niche even back then & today almost non existent.
Rappers like Smoke DZA, Rockie Fresh, Dom Kennedy etc. are the rappers seriously a product of the time (the rap blog and online mixtape era) that people outside the era, especially nowadays, more than likely will not click with or get.
2009/2010 to 2016ish is the second best era next to 90s Rap imo & im class of 2014 HS so i was in the middle of all that resurgence n creativity, but we do have a group of Rappers that are only products of that era & not much outside of it.
Every era has those artists tho. Artists you wouldnt really get if you werent part of the era, & the artists that dont get much play or thought outside of that era.
