soapmanwunnah I knew op didn't mean he liked the death aspect of the pandemic either but I still think his statement is dumb
a lot of people are depressed and miserable because they're not able to go out like they used, and he wants them to remain that way just because he doesn't want to go out? it doesn't make sense

Apr 9, 2021I get you though— there are definitely some things that I silently enjoy(ed) about this pandemic. One major advantage was that our ecosystem was improving rapidly during the total lockdown. Not having to cancel certain social appointments has been nice for me too. There’s some more stuff that has been positive in my eyes.
However, I’d still want to be over with it; just to be more enabled to do certain things, and of course for the humans that are suffering right now as a direct or indirect consequence of this virus.
I’m going to call it though, this won’t be the last pandemic for sure.

can't speak for @op but i feel the same way. but my job will demand that i go back to the office once everyone's vaccinated and it's "over"
