I usually just let my hair grow into a big ass fro and don’t mess with it too much but my s*** been getting too nappy lately so I think I’m gonna start using sum for my hair to make my curls more defined and just get my hair right.

    What y’all be using?

Google curl definers for 3b hair. I don't have your hair type but I know 3b tends to need lighter products.

To start I would suggest you look for products labeled "custards" like the Cantu Define & Shine Custard, Aunt Jackie's Curl Defining Custard, Creme of Nature Twisting Custard, etc. Custards provide hold and define your curls. They may make the hair slightly crunchy but can easily be removed by scrunching the hair after it dries or using a moisturizing leave in.

Gels define your hair really well, but may make your hair crunchy.

Mousses give you soft, touchable defined curls, with less hold. Curls may frizz up by the end of the day.

Creams define & moisturize curls, will not make your hair crunchy but many are too heavy for 3b curls & may weigh your hair down.

It all depends on your preference.

Look up black people hair thread. It's got a ton of information on that.

Also "mulatto"? It's almost 2020 fam its like a black guy calling himself colored.
