Hey man you can eat what you want, I'm not coming at meat eaters. Some people feel empathy for animals some dont, is what it is. But you're kidding yourself if you think the animals you eat dont feel pain or fear as a direct result of you eating em. And even if it was completely painless and they didn't know they were being killed would that make it anymore right to take them outta this world? If you're interested in learning more I'd recommend Gary Yourofsky's college speeches, there's a few recordings on youtube about an hr long.

I’m almost there. Don’t eat animal products (mostly bc am allergic) but looking to stop eating meat soon too.
