I started off with a CD collection of all the music I grew up on, and am now building a small cassette collection. The cassettes are more fun to search for and the form factor is also my favorite. Any of you guys collect physical albums?
it's fun for sure, on a side note niggas be buying vinyls without even owning setups just cause it looks pretty which is crazy to me
I own around 100 vinyl discs
cassettes are awesome I love the form factor as well. also the fact that there are tons of old music stores with tons of cassettes that you can get for peanuts
Yeah I got a decent vinyl collection. Last one I got is an autographed nourished by time ep. Some stuff I much prefer to listen to on vinyl like Godspeed you black emperor.
Yes, pretty sure there's a thread about it somewhere
Got 40+ vinyls, 'important' albums only. Think my rarest is worth like 500+

Ha, that's true. Shoutout to Numero for making all those one-and-done bands' music more accessible I guess
I got a small collection of 20 vinyls, will collect more when I have more money to throw lol
Got like 12 vinyls and around 20 CDs.
But I only get Digipak CDs. i like them more with the full art instead of the standard plastic jewelcase.
And sometimes they have super creative packaging like Watch the Throne.
I wouldn’t say a collection but I definitely buy physical copies of albums I really love. No better feeling than having something real to look at and feel when it comes to music imo
Lot of vinyl and CDs. I like buying lesser known and/or local stuff a lot. 4 cassettes right now but just started on those. If it's cheap enough and I have some singles in my wallet I will buy any vinyl at a garage sale/flea market
Haven't had a player for years but finally ordered one that won't take up a ton of space with an amp and all my speakers
Kind of want to get some kind of cassette player too
Technically my most rare is blvcklvnd rvdio 66.6 blue, but I think my 4th print mista thug isolation is worth more or at least has an actual resell history. Meow the jewels might be my favorite vinyl, so absurd
Not crazy or anything but I got all these for $5 at a flea market last month. Got some new local physicals since too
I used to but I sold them all when I was in a bad spot. Still have some sentimental ones. I’ve started buying cds lately for the kitchen cd player, though

Yeah that's why I like my meow the jewels.
Super weird casings are underrated
I hate CDs that are just a s*** cardboard cutout with a passion, and will burn the disc myself instead

Also love this packaging (and the album is one of my favs ever), probably the CD I like the most in my collection
I started collecting cds this year I have about 20 so far. I’m making a bookshelf of physical media
