Not that Hollywood was particularly virtuous to begin with, but now especially could we be entering a new 50s era style of censorship where any and all criticism of American government or history is promptly silenced by execs, projects that would’ve been green lit just a few months ago now falling by the wayside, things behind the scenes being retooled, certain actors being unofficially blacklisted.

Hell, extend this beyond movies and TV, what about videos games, where these sorts of topics tend to be even MORE vitriolic and seemingly all consuming.

That’s not even getting into Project 2025’s plans for media and whether or not that’s on the table (including outright bans on things).

I guess we just have to wait and see.
