What are you doing to treat it or help? I've been dealing with since last July and it sucks. I'm currently back on PPi and although the heartburn isn't as bad, it still sucks.

stomach acid runs in my family and I had it a bit last year when it was the really strict lockdown cause I was living a sedentary life at home
it got pretty bad and it was messing with my breathing but since case numbers settled down in my city around October I've been a lot more active, going outside, getting fresh air etc. and it hasn't affected me since
Obviously isn't going to work for everyone, especially if COVID numbers still high in your area, but my symptoms at its worst were pretty terrible last year

Working out is good but if you're allowed outside to exercise I think going on walks or runs if you're up to it is better for cleansing your body

Apple cider vinegar. About 3-4 tablespoons in a cup, then some milk(drink the acv first then drink milk separately) I've never took tums in my life. My acid reflux was always due to my diet. Fasting worked wonders. I'd fast for about 48hrs and eat more healthy things that were non acidic such watermelons, greens

The worst is the clogged feeling in your throat, or when you can feel your esophagus tightened up in your chest.

    Tips:

Drink a s*** load of water, have a bottle/glass right next to you as you sleep.

Sleep on your left side, propped up from the chest up with some extra pillows.

Zantac is really good if you have an especially bad flare up.

Aloe Vera juice is a godsend.

I deal with it, yeah. PPIs were a great solution until I kept getting stomach bugs over and over. It wasn't worth it.

Since October I've been taking 10-20 mg famotidine once a day around a meal and supplementing that with tums as needed.

Apparently DGL licorice works for some people? I have a bottle but it wasn't a game changer for me.

Hi there guys, I was diagnosed with Dysbiosis and a Leaky Gut due to being on antibiotics for bronchitis and pneumonia when i was 16. I had major issues with acid reflux, GERD, post nasal drip, and a myriad of other symptoms that were due to complications caused by antibiotics killing the good bacteria in my intestines

I recently started taking a number of nutritional remedies that have done WONDERS which included daily vitamins and a yogurt shake

the ingredients were as follows for the shake:
    1tablespoon Acacia Fiber Powder
    1 tablespoon Flax Seed powder
    1 tablespoon Macqui Berry Powder
about half a cup of yogurt drinks called Kefir or Dah!
    frozen fruits
    banana

    the vitamins i took are
    Emu Oil (750 mg)
    Mastic Gum (1000 mg)
    Bimuno
    Regactiv Detox & Liver Health
    Visbiome Probiotic (Refrigerate this)
    Raw Zinc (30mg)
    Magnesium Oxide (400mg)
    Taurine (500mg)

Acid Reflux is the result of NURITIONAL deficiencies and a lack of bacteria in your gut, improving both of these aspects is the key to improving your health.

Cut red meats as well, very important
