I understand, but I do not agree.

The Chronic’s place and significance is unparalleled

I prefer the darker overall atmosphere of 2001 but I think Chronic may be overall better. Can’t decide.

The chronic

The whole album just sounds authentically cinematic,like your listening to a pristine 70mm IMAX film or some s***. No other rap album really captures that kinda big-ness other then The Chronic imo.

2001 is one of my favorite albums oat but as a whole it's not a 10/10 if we're keeping it a buck, the chronic is a flawless album

It’s so hazy and ethereal sounding, sounds like closing your eyes as the sun hits you

Honestly, I think both are classics but 2001 had some filler songs which made the album a bit inconsistent whereas the Chronic was more consistent all the way through but was more simple and sounded less orchestral than 2001.

I also think that the Chronic's sound and vibe was lowkey perfected in Doggystyle whereas nothing has captured the sound and vibe of 2001 since it was released.

2001 has too many skips but the highs are definitely higher

I think they’re on the same level. 2001 has some great highs but also some low lows whereas The Chronic is just consistently good
