I think often I am able to remember certain times in my life that are dated around albums and releases, specifically Drake's.

This year is the first year where I really felt like 2013, 2014, 2015, an era where we saw him rise to another level, seems and feels so far away.

When I look back on it now, yeah there was no coronavirus and yeah we were younger, but beyond those variables, when he was winning, it felt like we all won. It was like a winning team that was proving its reign and he made the fans feel apart of it. A movement almost, that while the rest of the world deemed him as soft, we knew the genius in him.

Or witnessing the cultural impact Views had on the world. We were able to live in the moment and appreciate the greatness for what it was. I just hope we feel something like that again.
