I think these two are some of the strongest tracks.

COS has corny, banal lyrics at the beginning - but the interesting sounds, the calm humming choir and delicate guitar in the first half...and then the trumpets and Kanye chorus in the second half, top tier sonically imo.

It’s a shame, because the Chic-fil-a line distracts completely and I feel like it would be a favorite for everyone if it didn’t mention chic-fil-a.

Hands On, one of his most interesting songs thematically and sonically since Yeezus

    Can’t sleep on Selah though.

The build-up with the choir chant and beat towards the end.

Kinda sucks that COS and Selah have build ups that don’t lead to any drop but I guess he’ll add that in live versions

I keep fantasizing that he’ll do a “Good Fridays” or “Sunday Serve” where he lengthens or adds an insane climax to one track a week until the album is like 45 minutes and then it’s Christmas and...JIB.

Mike Dean, if you’re seeing this...

Feel the exact same way as OP but everyone I've said this to thinks I'm wack... good to see someone agrees with me. Musically/instrumentally Closed On Sunday is CRAZY good- the part with the build up has a CRAZY good melody. And Hands On is prolly a Top 3 Kanye track for me sonically, I can't stop playing it.
