This game was called Silent Scope. I remember watching my brother play this game during 2003-2004 in the arcade. I was so small that i couldnt even play this and my mom had to hold me on top to use the gun.
Police 911 was also fire af
Finally, Beachhead VR. I remember they had one in like a Chuck e cheese where it was an actual ball you sat in
Never played the shooters I was into the racing or easiest ones to win tickets

maybe this why im into shooters then
time crisis
ghost squad
terminator salvation
mario kart GP
whenever im at those bowling alleys, i always go stupid in the arcades
sadly though, i notice more arcades are getting filled up with mobile games, just blown up on a big tablet screen and stationary
i think thats stupid
theres some cool stuff ive seen though, like galaga/pac-man on a big led light display
used to love arcades so much, spent a lot of time on the shooter and racing sims. especially loved the horror shooters, each one was some sort of Resident Evil ripoff and it was always so much fun.
all time favorite might be this underwater shooter they used to have at the local Frankie’s Fun Park. each mission you had to hunt down some legendary sea beast
bro whats up with the U.S. Round 1 arcades? I have one in my city and the games are trash. Is there like some legal thing where they cant have the Japanese games imported?
i would love to try out the taito x valve arcade machines that were Japan-only
Has a much deeper arcade culture there than the U.S that isn’t just millenial nostalgia barcades or private collectors
mexico/LATAM also has a deep arcade culture, centering around game series like King of Fighters by SNK

damn i never really fw the racing games tbh
my complaints with those lie with the weird handling on the majority of them
Yep,I remember that game op,Arcades was just a fun experience that coulldn't really be replicated at home. I don't think arcades could comeback even if they put extreme effort, time and money to make it happen. But,arcades usually was the place to see ahead of their time graphics, games etc. If arcades still existed,we'd probably been played Tekken 8 by now, just waiting on the console release.
used to run fades on the homies on the tekken tag cabinet at this game store we used to be down the street from
bliss
Arcades & these games still exist wtf yall talking about.
Theres just not one on every corner anymore or gigantic dedicated building like in the 80s which i didnt live through.
Theyre still attached to establishments like certain pizza, malls, bowling & movie places.
Theres of course s*** like dave n busters.
Also theres a few more dedicated ones where i live, like a literal 18+ only one that is club/bar on the first floor and the the 2nd floor its all arcade machines, its called Life's 1UP or sum s*** like that. They even have cuphead turned into an Arcade machine & that exclusive Halo arcade machine & tons of the classics along with even more new ones that are either arcade versions of console games or completely exclusive, and its not about tickets just games. Great way to play without kids been there twice once with people once by myself. Its pretty big too.
Idk maybe its a westcoast thing, AZ & CA where I be at. The dedicated adult bar/club n arcade is located in AZ.
Theres only two fully dedicated ones (if you dont count thing like dave n busters) that I know of tho like the "Golden era".
Which is the adult bar/club imentiomed in AZ, & an arcade building in CA bayarea (im sure LA probably has one too).
I played a couple of racing cabinets here and there, but my favorites were always the classics. Pacman, Donkey Kong, Mario Bros, Galaga
