Personally I want an Xbox Series X because of Microsoft's smart "consumer-first" approach, and the new Hellblade looks real promising. Ninja Theory finna be important in the coming years.

But as someone who's never owned a PS4, I know that I HAVE TO cop a PS5 in order to play exclusives such as The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima.

The f*** do I do now?
Anyone else having this 1st-world problem?

This ain't a console-war thread btw. No mentions of Nintendo and PC either please.

The new announcement of never buying a game again has me tempted in an Xbox for the first time in 13 years.

But I’ll pribably end up buying neither, at least for a long while.

PS4 still feels fresh to me.

Xbox series with backwards compatiblity is an ez buy

PS5 ez buy cause it's playstation

Nintendo extendo switch pro XL U ez buy

  • Feb 28, 2020

I usually end up buying all three anyways just buy one at launch and the rest later

  • Feb 28, 2020

    No I always go PlayStation

Xbox brand doesn’t interest me but it’s prob because I don’t like FPS

  • Feb 28, 2020

just bought a pc but i’d get the xbox if i had to pick

  • Feb 28, 2020

I’ve always had all 3 main consoles. Did completely skip Wii U tho. But yea most definitely getting both. PS5 the priority tho so I’ll get that at launch.

PC and PS5 is the wave for now.

  • Last play station I had was the ps1. I might get the ps5 but idk. Definitely getting series x though

  • Feb 28, 2020

I’d recomend to you to buy the xbox at release and buy the ps5 when it’s cheaper and most exclusive quality games have already dropped , it’s what I’m gonna do

Sony has a history of great franchises that will be continuing on PS5.
IF Microsoft starts to come out with some good exclusives, I can just play them on PC, or get the console later.

I’ll go Xbox, always prefer it since the first one. Even though I’ve had a ps1 ps2 and psp.

    But I’m gonna wait awhile

I read something about no Xbox series x exclusive titles for a year after release or some s***

Gonna stick with my one s a while longer

Sony hopefully gonna implement that in the PS5 as well.

In any case PS5, only ever felt that I missed out on the Halo series from Xbox

PC-PS5 if i were you. Most XBOX exclusives end on PC

  • Feb 29, 2020

I'll most likely end up getting ps5 first sometime after launch and then the Xbox in the middle of the generation. Xbox getting obsidian and ninja theory sounds interesting so if they can get some solid exclusives down the line and halo or gears ends up good I'm definitely gonna end up getting it.
