Umm, I definitely didn’t understand where I was being taken there because I was still trapped in the unrealistic episode of mine but I understood as the days passed I just need to calm down and I’d be outta here. Was
Still feeling pretty manic after I got out. The worst part is throughout the whole process they won’t tell you “hey bro it’s gonna be fine” “ur here for a while cuz u did this stuff blah blah blah”. I thought I was in prison cuz I slept to some dude with an ak47 tat on his neck and my other roommate was missing an eye.

Ak47 and roomate with a missing eye

I actually ended up being transferred from a nice fancy ward to the worst one in south central LA, it was run by Nigerians and it was super low income. The nice one didn’t have room for me

Your parents can hospitalize you whenever they want if you're under 18 in the US, doesn't need to be in states with 5150 rules and they don't even need a good reason

Just call the place up and say the kid is acting crazy and get you thrown in the loony bin for a few weeks if they feel like it

yeah heard kinda similar stories from my ex

Ya once. Was stupidly addicted to Adderall and started hallucinating. Went to the hospital to get treated and to look into anti depressants. Said I wouldnt kill myself with my dads gun during the questioning because hed hate himself, and they took that as a "plan to kill myself". Gave me the option to go in voluntarily or involuntarily, and I choose the first one.

Was there for about 2 weeks. It was surprisingly relaxing, minus the violent schizophrenic constantly getting restrained. Read about 3 game of thrones books, watched some weird tv, went to the groups so I could get out faster, and talked to an old lady who was insanely nice and reminded me of my aunt.

Finally got out because I told my doctor I felt better, he claimed "the meds take 4 weeks to kick in how can you feel better." I told him I wasent abusing d**** in there lol, and he let me out.

Before leaving I also came out as bisexual to my fam which was pretty much the worst possible timing.
