Yea I got it done 6 years ago. Have had perfect vision since. It's truly incredible. I wore glasses from age 6 to 21 btw.

can your eyesight revert back to how it was before? or is completely permanent

It can get worse but it would do that regardless. The place I did it at offers free sessions again if you have enough lens to work with. But for me it was worth it. Even if my vision degrades a little bit I still won't need glasses for the rest of my life lmao

My paranoia over the collapse of society and losing my glasses and never being able to find good replacements also played a part in my decision lmfaoooo

Cost me 4k and worth every penny btw

  • S*** scares me but I wanna do it eventually

  • Nov 7, 2020

i'm almost blind in one eye, my eye doctor said lasik won't even help me. s*** is wack

That's basically how it was. They told me I should just try and close my eyes for like 6 hours or as long as possible after getting it done so I scheduled a morning appointment at like 9am and just stayed up super late till like 6am. Slept for like 2 hours, went in got it done in like 15 min, slept for 8 hours at home and woke up with perfect vision. Slightly fuzzy and a bit sensitive to light but by 24 hours later was crystal clear. Had to wear sunglasses outside to be comfy for like a few months but yeah. Overall I absolutely recommend it to people.

Imma be honest I don't remember

But my vision started going fuzzy like 8 inches to a foot away from my face. I could not really function at all without glasses it was pretty bad.

Another factor is how long it's been since u needed a new prescription. My eyes kinda got to their worst at like 16-17 years old. So by 21 they had been the same for almost 5 years. Last thing u wanna do is get it done and then have ur eyesight drop off a cliff and need it again it or be stuck with glasses.

But the vision docs go over all of this with u and s*** so yeah. Id just make an appointment if ur curious. First step is making sure you have enough lens that they can shape it correctly. Otherwise you're already taking an L lmaooo
