I was really young when the whole war was happening but I remember my dad watching the news to find out who done what.
If I remember correctly the boss who inspired the character of Genny ended up in prison.
I remember watching the news and seeing the cops bringing him out of his mansion

At the end of the day it's fiction so they can still come up with a fantasy ending where Genny end is connected to Ciro since they've been pushing the brotherhood s*** into the ground
