Looking at getting into the trades because I.T. certification fell through but I might have a chance to retake that class but in the meantime i’m looking at other options

I’m looking to get into an apprenticeship if so and I have no experience, how do you get in?

Not me but its easy to get from what i heard its like most trade school type things

One of my friends was talking about it a week or two ago and said they gonna apply - he has no experience prior in the actual field although he has done other stuff like construction and a home buisness

    It shouldnt be hard @op

had a client who was going to school for it. sounded pretty sick. he was worried about shocking himself tho

went to a college with a program, theres a lot out there, peep your local CCs, probably ez to get into, also they are short and provide apprenticeships

dipping your toes into other fields first can be safe and might lead to something too. mitigation/restoration will always be hiring with high rates but the work is figurative and literal s***

  • not a licensed electrician but I did do lighting work when I needed to make money since I knew the basics and eventually became an electrical project manager for a big semiconductor facility.

I'd say once you get any certification or if you're just starting out, joining a big company (depending on where you are) who train apprentices would be a good start as I know they pay a pretty solid hourly wage
