What was your experience like? And do you have any advice on how to make the experience more manageable?

The worst thing about prison was the dementors. They were flying all over the place and they were scary and then they'd come down and they'd suck the soul out of your body. And it hurt!

I only sat a few hours for trespassing. S*** was stupid asl but I thought I was hard lol. S*** is ass, the part that was driving me crazy besides being there was I didn’t have any sense of the time and that s*** really bothered me. Idk why I kept wanting to know what time it was.

Yea went for 2 weeks. First 5 days you're in holding which is just a big triangle shaped room with two floors full of 2 bunk rooms. Then you get assigned a pod based on your charges and they walk you through all of them. One dude got assigned to the pedo pod and that s*** was dark, cold and only had 1 light.
Then when you are in your pod it's a big room with like 15-30 other people and you stay there for like 3 days or the rest of your time. 3 days in, they come around and ask if you would like to join the workers camp (ALWAYS SAY YES) and if you're county is legit, you'll get a 2 for 1 and even sometimes 3 for 1 where 1 day = 2 or 3 but only if you agree to work which they skip that detail

Did 24 hours for jumping a subway turnstile, food was the worst part. And the overcrowding was crazy, it was like 20 people per cell

There was a fat guy named Honey Bear who told jokes, kept people jovial

One user here was in prison but I dont wanna at him

I was at a high security prison, a women's prison and a criminal's asylum as part of my work stuff Horrible places to end up Also had to go to the morgue

To add on to my earlier post, been there 4 times before I was even 21. It’s really nothing except them wasting your time. No one is out to get you and everyone just tryna get home. Most niggas just tryna play spades, trade commissary, and have barbershop talk
