Sounds like it takes an incredible deal of confidence and self-motivation.
But that's most good things in life,

word of advice in regards to freelancing
start out doing that
accumulate enough money to get at least 1 person hired
then begin to offload the work to them so you can focus on running the BUSINESS, simply provide oversight and make sure quality maintains
Otherwise you're basically just giving yourself a job

most people freelancing cannot afford to hire anyone. also that’s a huge waste and security risk.

it isn't a waste it's how you grow the business
security risk? What? lol

Some people want to give themselves the job and hire someone else to operate the expenses though.
I do plan to work with others in group projects in order to get more profit.

I mean that's fine no reason why you can't hire someone to run the business instead, granted it's a bit harder to hire on for that
been doing this for the past couple of years part time but trying to pivot to full time freelancing
reading this book now that's been pretty helpful called The Six Figure Freelancer by Laura Briggs that might be worth checking out
biggest takeaways are:

started doing web design for friends

it offers a before and after aspect that makes you watch until the end to see the finished product
Trying to get in on this.
Do something at what you good at and where you find yourself a niche. Do people in your neighborhood, city or online have a problem where you could provide the solution? A solution for which they would pay money for ? E.g., if a local shop is owned by a 70 year old who barely knows to use his PC, they would pay for someone who builds and maintains their website. You can use this principle for both freelancing and for starting a company.
