  • I’m talking moving to a new place where you don’t know anyone.

    A new career

    New friends

    New family

    New life

I’m planning on starting all over again.

All my attachments to my old life is gone. I’m stuck living the old life I setup for myself but no reason to continue living like that. I need another life like that Kanye song.

But I wanted to see some other stories so I have a better sense of what I’m getting myself into.

    How do you live?

Yeah I’ve done it a few times in the past 20 years, I might only have one or two more in me but I actually enjoy building from scratch

  • I had to start over after losing 92 bricks

What’s the process like? Did you get your affairs in order or just went at it head first?

  • Jul 10

Yep multiple times. All for the better

Like my mom told me the last time I had to do it “don’t be afraid to take the leap”

I usually job hunt and send out applications before moving, I like to pull up to a new place with a job offer already secured

I’ve done it on a whim a few times and it was tough but nothing impossible to handle

  • my buddy up and moved across the country to colorado springs a few years ago and has been bouncing around ever since, SLC and all that over there

I did things on a whim, accepted the job without hesitation, ended up in Bahamas for 6 months and Kansas City for 3 months back to back living alone lmfao learning about myself and getting experiences in parts of the world/country I never imagined before, even if it wasn’t always exciting it was brand new and taught me what I value (time with family/friends). Honestly, I think everyone should take the risk at least once and get out of your comfort space cause you never know where you’ll end up or who it will teach you that you truly are

  • too much family responsibility but I dream of doing this all the time

  • Jul 10

yeah i abandoned my kids one time s*** was litty, f*** those ingrates

  • To Japan yes but ehhh work wise it’s depressing af there

  • You only have one life

Do whatever it takes to work towards being able to live the life you want. At the end of the day, the only person you have to rely on is yourself so keep pushing... one step at a time.

you make it sound super hard just find a job then you’ll get friends there then a girlfriend then you’re set

conversely, u make it sound super easy

  • I’ve started over, moved out the country and it didn’t work out, had to start over again.

The wasted time sucks but I don’t regret it. If it had worked out it would’ve been the best decision of my life.

just need to get my feet planted in one place and actually put in some work. Too much moving around has lost me some good relationships
