How do yall remedy with the fact as ya bday comes up that, the current year just wasn’t a good year for you?
Thug it out
Idk man just continually try to bury any negative thoughts you have about it and move forward I guess
Life's just gonna be trash as f*** sometimes and we can't control it so you should at the very least try to have a good bday
Make the decision/acceptance that next year will be better and that life comes with highs & lows

You get nothing by fleeing what is certain. Necessity is best met as though chosen. Face it calmly. The trial itself is lighter than the fear of it
Next year is another year for things to go right. You set the stage. You can’t control what happens but you can control how you handle it. Enjoy your birthday brother just remember many folks didn’t get to make it there
Look at a new year as a reset and a blessing bc thats exactly what it is
Used to have bday blues every year until my best friend died, now I look at a bday as a blessing
He was born 3 months before me but I’ve already reached ages he was never able to and he died last year. Birthday is a blessing even after a s***ty ass year man, not saying that in a condescending way whatsoever either I mean this so genuinely.

Thanks.
This is legit the 1st time in my whole life I’ve ever caught the pre-birthday blues. Like I’ve had mid years and even years going through depression for a long period of time.
I was hype and excited bout turning 30 last year.
It’s just a whole lottttt of s*** went wrong starting like that october.
There are some small victories I can take in but this the 1st year since like 2022 that i’ve had a breakdown (2 times! drake voice )
Like I know the feeling will come to pass but this s*** dont feel good rn.

Oh ima still do what I do every day on my birthday (take myself out to my fav restaurant in the city, which was at risk of closing this calendar year for the 1st time like ever man like it be the LITTLE s*** that be having me ready to flip over a table lmao)
I’m very much a person on birthday transition (been doing this since sophomore year of college, 2013)
Thanks.

I had a year like that my 23rd. Def the worst age of my f***ing life fr and 24th bday was bittersweet but I looked at it as a reset, I even got sick randomly and threw up on my bday but I think it was a cleanse
24 has been okay, more like rebuilding and regrowing and maybe 31 will be that for you and if it is you’ll be better for it.
I’m optimistic as f*** about 25 and hopefully you’ll be optimistic as f*** about 32
