One of the few bands I listen to when I take a rare break from listening to rap

I think the lead singer Mike Foster has some of the best vocals in alternative music but I don’t really hear anyone ever talk about them

I’m probably alone tho 😂 🤷🏻‍♂️ But here’s a few songs that really stand out to me

torches is genuinely good 'electro pop' 'indie pop' whatever they wanna call it and was better than the s***e released by not so dissimilar bands at the time

would rather hear foster the people woo hoo chorus than arcade fire boom stomp clap

Yeah I think Torches (Best Buy Version) is a classic

They have 3 really great bonus songs that are only on that edition. Never released digitally and are hard to find

fr. supermodel is such an underrated album, it was a big soundtrack in hs for me. torches too but supermodel hits different imo.

SHC i'm not as big a fan of, there were a couple songs i liked at the time though. i remember fw lotus flower and static space lover
