I miss rappers being able to be fun and creative
Everything now is either like street s***, bangers, or lyrical and thats all amazing but we need the eclectic niggas back

Frankly he's got a point, these rappers nowadays always make some like fart 808's bangers, street rap type stuff, or this alchemist drumless boring ass lyrical music.

Nowadays I notice there are hardly any light-hearted pop rappers say like B.o.B, Charles Hamilton, Moosh & Twist, or Asher Roth. Even someone like Lupe who's arguably has gotten better as an artist, I miss his old Lasers-era songs and I really wish we got the OG version of that album. Albums like Graduation, C3, Paper Trail, BP3, Adventures of Bobby Ray, and Lasers all resemble that era

But I guess it shows how much times have changed now, it's crazy to think it's been over 10 years ago since we gotten these type of artists and albums. Guess the emergence of people like Cole, Kendrick, Pro Era, Mac, Future, Thugger, etc. all have shifted rap to a different sound...
