i use brave on mobile and watch youtube on there, never an add.
Using their mobile app is admitting defeat to ads
If they were really struggling they could just pull a Twitch and actually fight adblockers.

Don't think youtube would ever have to do that since most of their users watch on mobile and there's no adblock for mobile. Most of twitch users watch on their browser so it makes sense why they went after adblock.
