It’s being able to objectively look at certain policies and agree with them no matter what side they come from.

Like for example, someone can agree and align with more left policies when it comes to social issues, but more conservative policies when it comes to economic issues.

They aren’t trapped in agreeing with every democratic policy or every Republican policy

Socially I align with more left ideologies, but economically I would say my preferences align more on the right side of the spectrum.
