had a friend who worked grave shift at a 24hours kinko in 2010 and we would always stop by after midnight and do blow w him since no one ever came in
Nah. My girl wakes up at 12am to get ready for a 330am to 1pm shift tho. I'm cool off that.
She work at a bakery?
I used to have to do that when I worked at bakery
Family owned businesses will have u working all day though
I mean, I usually work a standard 9 to 5 with at least 2 days off. Sometimes i get 5 or 6 hour shifts too, but I'm working part time.
Gotta admit, the idea of working full time sounds awful

Hold on how many hours u work a week

It literally changes every week. I worked 41 hours 2 weeks ago (tho that was an anomaly since I had to sacrifice an off day to help someone ) but its usually somewhere between 26 to 32 hours.
Most people who work full time get 2 days off, but I usually get 3. Which is crazy. I don't know how you can only get 2 days off and accomplish anything outside of work.
Do people actually like working these shifts ? Seems like torture fr
It's....complicated. I'm a night person naturally (usually stay up till 3 am) so the idea of going to work at 8 or 9 sounds horrible to me. But there is a sense of isolation that really causes issues if you close too much.
I did it 5 days in a row, and I was entertaining the idea of offing myself. S*** gets bad mentally man. Plus, I've developed a bit of anger issues since I started. Luckily, I don't have to deal with coworkers in my department who constantly holler at me (the stock guys are the coolest people so closing with them is nice)

S*** sucks and wild af. Especially on weekends when last-call b****es come thru and cause a ruckus. Hated that shiet. Going home barely any buses, you got Suicide Squad filming causing traffic @3am too, f***ing hated that movie, glad it sucked ass.

Thanks man I'm doing better now that winter is almost over. The depressing weather all the time doesn't help, that's for sure lmao.
I do wonder how to cope tho. I talked to some coworkers, and some make music, smoke, school, etc. I graduated college but im thinking of taking local courses. You really need to something to occupy yourself. I just struggle with the motivation

its desperation man, nobody wants to do graveyard shifts so its the easist to get into.
I did that s*** for a year, had another part time job and was doing fulltime school too. Needed it to finance my career and have fam to feed.
