they are meant to hold children until their parents can be found. the alternative to this is leaving a bunch of minors wondering around where they wont be safe

the facility was reopened due to covid meaning they want to spread people out more thinly to prevent big breeding grounds, objectively safer. the trump admin closed the facility to cut cost, at the expense of the kids quality of life

what is the alternative? I agree the conditions could be better, but in the end you will have to hold kids somewhere. you cannot leave kids unsupervised. also you are not ending the idea of borders anytime soon

I always agreed with Trump with regards to his views on illegals. Come legally or don’t come at all. Trump was terrible. Biden has sucked slightly less during his short time in office, however, how is illegal immigration fair to immigrants that went through the legal immigration process?

Yeah I agree with you wholeheartedly. I’ll admit, I don’t know all the intricacies with regards to immigrating to the US. My grandmother immigrated to Canada in the 1960s but that was quite a bit of time ago, so I’m not really sure how immigration differs now from then.

However, you can’t just hop a fence and call it a day The concept of “open borders” is ridiculous
