Do you realize the level of elevator traffic it would have if every person had to use the elevator to take their garbage or recycling down every time? Paying the 35 bucks is meant for the maintenance folks who have to clean up and deal with 500 apartment units worth of garbage everyday

Trash chutes exist for a reason. Your apartment complex probably doesn’t have a lot of floors/isn’t a tower

No its extra. They hire a third party to do it. Its not maintenance doing it. I wish this building had chutes tbh my last apartment had both options. Its just frustrating they want you to use 15 gallon bags but they dont even pick up friday or Saturday. And this week they didnt show up til tuesday and i caught the guy who tried to not take my trash and this scumbag goes “first of all, thats not the standard size bag, and its too heavy”

Mind u the bag is for 30 gallons cuz its the only one that fits the brim of the trash can they make us use. And the bag wasnt even half full and weighed less than 20 lbs

Mine $25 and its bs, some days they don't even pick it up. i can take out my own trash but if you're forcing me to pay every month then you need to be here everyday.

It really be scamming bullshit. They even got a trash room on every floor, but they still charge for trash valet. Like why tf do I need pay u to take my bag 20 ft down the hall to the trash chute?

My neighbors sometimes leave they trash out to get grabbed, and lazy maintenance people don’t even pick it up. Next morning whole hallway be smelling like ass
