Drukqs slowly becoming almost my fav Aphex album now. Idk Ima sit with it for a few more days before I decide
Lot of mind blowing tracks on there. Lot of stuff I’d rather not listen to as well but that’s not something i can escape very often in his discog. The fact that people hated it with a passion when it came out confuses me
They kinda grew on me over time so yea I can see why you say that
maybe cause they lined up next to like one best electronic songs of all time

Yea that’s why I really didn’t dive into heavily at first when I first listened 2 years ago. It’s a lot of tracks on here I LOVE but it’s a lot of tracks that I genuinely cannot enjoy. It’s slowly been changing and I been starting to appreciate the album overall. It’s a double album so of course with this many songs I’m going to miss some stuff and not really like some. Yea I always never understood the weird reception this album had too
Syro is so f***ing amazing
Purposefully didn’t listen until I was more acquainted with his older stuff and now I have a massive appreciation for it. So many bangers
4 is one of the greatest pieces of music ever composed. The gorgeous string arrangement cushioning the track, the frenzied drum programming, the synths layered on top guiding the melody.....was in an entirely different bag when he made that one.
"Richard?"
Yep
Iconic track.
