    This is not true lol. It doesn't have control over the instagram app. It just pastes whatever is in your clipboard. This does look weird though. That being said, I don't see this happen at all on tiktok and I'm on ios14

    It pastes everything from the clipboard including Instagram

    Yeah I mean it pastes whatever's in the clipboard no matter where it's from. Instagram has nothing to do with it. You made it sound like it can get that info from ig on it's own. There's no encryption to the clipboard of course it can get "private" messages if you copied the message it goes to the clipboard, apps use that all the time. Been known. Google Maps uses this to show you directions automatically if you copy a location

    That being said, the app does seem to have other privacy issues, I just don't see this as a problem considering it's allowed functionality app developers can implement, and it honestly rarely seems to happen

    No I didn't, if it copies everything it's by far worse than what I said, but obviously ig and WhatsApp is where the most sensitive data lies.
