Eh not surprised.
Always found it kinda odd they ran straight into ending the series like they did after those big S3 contracts came in. They doubled episodes lengths and sped through things to make that work too which hurt the show. Still was a lot of stuff to do with the team like actually winning a trophy
Hope now that the team had a break and have no pressure they can turn this back into a 30-35 min lighthearted series
How do you feel about it?
I’m fine with it. I liked the last season
They def have opened the floodgates tho. There was a vocal minority that disliked last season… so they just WAITING to say something lmaooooo
Doesn’t seem like a great idea tbh. What happened, nobody was able to capitalize off their Ted Lasso fame??
I feel like it comes down to disingenuous marketing. S3 was heavily implied to be the end but never had any definitive stamp as a series ender. Crew were vague on if they’d return as well. Even Apples own episode description always just said season finale
S3 was only last year so it’s not like it’s been that long or the cast even had a big chance to do other stuff yet

I’m all for it cause I love the show but it caught me by surprise and I know they’re gonna get killed for it cause of the last season. I’m just curious where they go with it more than anything else.

you gotta point
Last season was horrible
making the episodes longer and forced with the wokeness was cringe af idk how they got it so bad...can't see this getting any better

The dude who plays Roy Kent is gonna do a Marvel movie
wait is he gonna leave his family again?

Oh no they didn’t mention Jamie Tart? He needs to come back too man!

yea he's not coming backl
Started watching this show recently and pretty much dropped on the episode about funeral in second season. There is something annoying for me in the visual style of the show, doesn't feel like cinema lol. But bigger reason is that characters switch between being humans and just some dumb comic reliefs, it's weird.
im still mad about the last season...how did it fall off so hard and make s*** super corny....like it always had some corniness but felt wholesome then they amped it to 100x
Excited for this, truly was a comfort show during covid ❤️
