It's fun but not as fun when you feel like you've done most of the things that you can do. I can keep shooting and looting but there isn't really anything I need besides more blueprints perhaps but those are more rare.

Aye that's a good question. I haven't even thought about that. Gotta read into what it means though.

I see we have the same generous heart When I started playing this morning the BREAKING NEW GROUND (Stella Mantis) effort was at 2%. Now it's at 19. I thought it'd take way longer cus it was stuck on 2-3% for a while but now it popped off.

Is this going to be hard to get into by mid December? I can’t play until then. And does this play on the steam deck?

The Matriarch is in the game?? Where at? I was playing earlier but I didn't come across the Matriarch or the Shredder. Thought those wouldn't show up until the new map was unlocked.

Edit: Oh, they show up in events, not just in any random game.

The donation part is over, you cheap! The map was unlocked about 2 hours ago but there are new quests and rewards relating to the new map.

New map is fire, just running around getting in free loot, no one interested in pvp at the moment

Been crazy so far. Haven't found much good s*** but a couple exotic materials.

has the finals really flopped tho? it still has a VERY active and dedicated community. player counts have been high too for months.

i play the game almost every day and tbh its the best shooter i remember playing in recent times.

I got into it super late and like it. Arc raiders has just taken over my life.

Im really a s*** for single player RPG's though, so when a multi-player game hooks me it's usually really good

20 million downloads at launch to ~30k active users a month later iirc so there was a steep sharp decline and since then it never really recovered.

And general interest in it from the gaming community seemed to be nonexistent.

Season 4 was actually healthy for the game’s vitality and then it declined again with the launch of Marvel Rivals in the following season (December 2024).

Earlier this year it did experience a kind of resurgence with big streamers like MoistCr1TiKaL playing it regularly and calling it the best FPS on the market currently.

And now with ARC being released, player numbers are down again (Embark cannibalized itself SMH)
