Finally crossed the frozen map and made it to Rocket Assembly, I ran into the same guy I shot and revived. Brodie said he found a water filter and then dropped it for me. Christmas spirit was in the air man

lol yea there’s plenty of people right now that just bought this game based on all the hype they were seeing and put it down minutes after they tried it because they didn’t have the patience to find the fun like you said.

I’m guessing they’ll announce a 2026 roadmap after Flickering Lights ends in mid January. Some kind of new content dropping around Marathon’s release also seems like a safe bet.

I’ve been doing some naked runs when I just want to kick back and grind materials and I’m in the friendly lobbies now…. This is a whole different world. I went down on Stella and someone kept me alive with bandages and guided me to extract… I kinda like it on this side

Solo friendly lobbies play like a chill looter shooter MMO where I can grind trials and workbenches. Aggressive lobbies are fun for using my high tier loot to mow people down in high tension scenarios. I can really let the toxicity wash over me here. Every now and then, they’ll throw an aggressive raider into the friendly pool and vice versa to mix things up

The matchmaking system is in a great spot once you understand how it works. This is the middle ground where everybody can be satisfied
