I think sometimes life is similar to a movie. Not just starting from the theater or at home experience but the entire scope of the cinematic production.
Writer, Director, Protagonist, Antagonist, Character arcs, plot twists, special effects, props etc.
Editing, scoring etc.
Really as you're saying, we're characters either in the film, experiencing something in a moment of this scene. We just call this scene of ours 'Life'. Before us, events took place that shaped the stories of the Protagonist and Antagonist. Us as minor characters, this scene we're living in this and our emotions are causing us to sway one way or another. When our time is finished, we pass along the information of the film to the next actors. In passing, over coffee, lunch or whatever. The production never stops, it keeps moving forward and towards its end.
The Director and production crew doesn't tell everyone what Act we're in but the energy in the air, or 'on the set' provides us with details and moments of what's to come.
Some of us have the full script. Some of us have been given certain lines to say. Some of us are characters walking in the background waving.
What I also wonder is, who is watching this film, could it be us or are there others out there replaying this process or watching it live.
we (meaning i... meaning you) are creating the film, playing all the parts in it, and are also the audience
As shakespeare said... all the world's a stage

one of my favorite books is a book of poetry literally titled Inward and it's all about becoming your own healer and that's what I was referencing and would have expanded upon if anyone had asked so like it's not fortune cookie stuff at least not this time man
