her earlier vids are kinda YA novel mixed with kitsch stylizing. they kinda work. recent vids are more jus her trying to create 90s s***. in general, i think she's aite. writes really well for her age (19 or 20), making use of her age cohort's presumed naivete to write some whiny songs that are actually raw

honestly dumbfoundead might have the best chance. and i totally forgot about this man until you brought him up.

it's tough to build a superstar especially for a takeover.

Another Drake for example is what you're looking at for Asian people to take over the rap game. just like the toronto wave. Drake had to immerse and loose his whole background to blend in with america in order to takeover the charts.

I just don't see it happening right now.

I just peeped that first video and it's really dope, theres actually a lot of asian men and women both making noise in that rock space, especially the more indie rock sounding stuff.

lol trust me dfd does not have the best chance right now.. dude put on for Asians for sure but he’s not getting any bigger than he’s already gotten off of rapping.. even he knows it.. that why dude is a podcaster now and doing stand up + auditioning for movie/tv roles. dudes like 30+ years old.

if anything it’s gonna be some young kid who we don’t know yet.

still can’t believe we let rich Brian and higher brothers have actual rap careers smh

fax. the rei girl raps, but in general i'm not as impressed by her as bea. she do got some kinda following though i basically see her as replicating the transition from frank's nights but w/ every song

and rei's writing ain't close to bea's i think
