MontrealSpeed dating/social clubs/sports clubs been popping off in NYC and Montreal since last summer so I think the people are truly tired of dating apps.
as someone in nyc the apps aint it but i know people that have met great people on there so they are what you make them. best bet is to just go out and be social

it’s just that people weirdly feel entitled to finding a partner on them - not everyone is gonna like you nor will everyone find success on these apps
it’s just an extra tool that opens up your pool of potential dates (otherwise you’re pretty much restricted to coworkers, school and the occasional downtown outing)
