Will what Drake has done in releasing three albums at once now become a regular thing in the music industry in the coming months / years.
This seems to be the final stage of what began as a rise in artists dropping ‘double albums’ to boost streaming numbers. Chris Brown took it to a whole new level with that (eventually) 57 song album I can’t even remember the name of. In retrospect that could’ve been three albums.
I can definitely see Taylor Swift doing this at some point in the future…
Pretty much any artist with no talent may do this
Since Drake leads having no artistic talent
They only care about sales and think this is a smart move
no because it will lower the amount of sales for the "main" album which will look less appealing
only drake can do that
I honestly could see it sticking, it's the perfect strategy for the streaming era now that critical acclaim/quality over quantity doesn't really matter
I can see this having a Beyonce Self Titled effect
Maybe just two albums instead of 3 for most people
they could but if you drop 3 albums at once i wont be there
what if its jane remove her
this is only slightly different than loading up a deluxe 3-4 days after your album releases which has been happening for like half a decade

its very different since its 3 different projects vs all being one project.
