In Papua there are OPM (Organisasi Papua Merdeka) or Free Papua Movement rebels.
They want Papua to be independent and separate from Indonesia.
This is what keeps this conflict going on.

It's really hard because there are Indonesians who support the independent movement of Papua and some are not.

For me if they want it, just give it. But we know there's Australia government behind this conflict. They want Papua be independent to crop their nature like gold. But USA already make it with Freeport and still work it

Sorry I mean like another poor African country. They have great nature and culture but with low education and an environment that is closed from outsiders will make it difficult for them to develop.

Continents were probably closer together and also different sea levels means some parts that are currently underwater were probably above water at that time e.g. UK at one point was connected by land to mainland Europe: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doggerland

They along with the Australian Aboriginals, the Andaman islanders, and the indigenous ppl of the islands between South Asia and Australia were from an earlier wave of humans that left Africa.

They are also genetically distant from and modern day African group and are closer to Asians.
