    hey man relax

    nope

Ait, cuz that sounded like a Popper citation, was just wonderin'. But yeah basically it's the same reason why people resort to conspiracy theories (not saying some of them don't have true elements). Can't handle the complexity of a globalized world.

Why do you keep saying Darwinist like it's a thing?

darwinist is literally a practicer of darwinism
    dictionary.com/browse/darwinist
youre uneducated as f*** and it shows

but there’s nothing to “practice,” i wouldn’t call someone a “gravitist” bc they believed in gravity

difference between gravity and darwinism is that darwinism is a cult trying to shove their man made religion down our throats
so no gravitism isnt a thing

yeah bro in my 23 years of life the climate of my immediate area has changed drastically

sure, i’ve never been to antarctica but the evidence is clear regardless, i’ll take pictures and graphs from the current century over texts orally passed down, translated and altered over the course of humanity a 100x over

word, maybe my past sources of learning trace back to him in some way. ill check him out, though i will say im not opposed to religion in any way. reality is that it may be one of our last resorts for keeping the “band-aid” over the general public’s overwhelming anxiety, and without it we would collapse

also interesting you brought up the role conspiracy theories play, ive actually discussed that quite a bit on here, very interesting phenomenon.

Great to hear some differentiated and abstract opinion on here.

Recommend "The open society and it's enemys", it's a bit older, but a lot of the statements still hold value and "All Life is Problem Solving" which has some great philosophical concepts one can debate.

Edit: Am open for recommendations too if you have any

Religion is the purest mental freedom tbh.

But of course that's after you step out of what they want you to believe in order to understand reaffirm readjust or negate your faith.

We just gonna ignore that OP doesn’t believe in Darwinism

There's this narrative fueled by these godless evil liberals that lack morals saying that religion is the source of all evil and corruption. The same people who wanna say black people cant represent themselves && racism is more prevalent now than in tue jim crow era.

religion has been used as a justification for murder, thievery, and rape since the beginning of time. these people are not religious, they are wolves in sheepskins.

Ya those people fall short of god. Not representative of gods grace but his example.

Religious people have been actually killing people for disagreeing with them for the past millennia, but e-bullying from people that you will never meet in real life is a problem

In that case a car majority of religious folk fall short of Gods grace.

religious people oppress other religious people (and non religious) around the world

lots of different kinds of people all over are being persecuted due to religion and its draconian laws.

in the west religion is not completely important to many but in the US it is a factor in deciding who gets into a position of power etc

religion influences a lot in the US which is crazy
