mentally ill people who suffer from anxiety dont have to go out to meet people anymore and due to the addictive trait of these apps and sites, more people are just social online more than they are in real life

they're really only named "losers" rn because they are perceived through their lack of sexual interactions. but the reality is that they're really not active socially in every aspect and thats mostly due to the fact that they don't really need it. they can work online instead of showing up to work, talk to other people online instead of meeting ppl at the bar, etc. that reclusiveness and lack of real human interaction and touch then leads to a lack of empathy henceforth the mysoginy, racism, etc.
