Considering he overdosed on a federally regulated prescription d*** that is rampantly over-prescribed because of its addictive qualities, maybe Endo Pharmaceutical should share some blame.

it does but im getting sick of everyone calling music that isnt about d**** and gang s*** corny. we surprised that rappers end up killing theyselves

  • at the end of the day, people are gonna do what they want, you can't really stop them if they're motivated enough. If you wanna flip it to listeners copying the rappers or whatever, its pretty easy to listen to a s*** ton of " d*** music" and have no interest in partaking. Wayne's my GOAT, but I have 0 interest in diving into lean & s***. Seems dumb af to do something just cuz you saw your favorite rapper do it.

  • I didn't do s***

No, but we should make an effort to support artists that are against d****. Their deaths are on their own hands (still very tragic & I was a huge Peep fan), but we can create a consumer shift towards artists that don't endorse d*** use and by that influence their contemporaries to stop using/ glorifying it

I tried lean because I listened to Mike Jones. I mostly avoided addiction due to seeing it ravage family. I agree that children are impressionable regarding art. I don't think the artists are who should be held accountable. Plenty of people in Juice's life failed him. His school district, his parents, his friends, his community, his nation regarding prosecuting pharmaceutical companies who encourage pill mills that flooded america with addictive d****.

The same factors that acted upon Juice allowing him to slide into addiction acted on Future before him and UGK before him. There was no first person to glorify d**** that triggered "the fall" like Eve biting the apple. We know who is at risk and for what reasons and where their addiction starts. It's less challenging to power to blame culture and a lapse in personal virtue than the Sackler family and broader systemic causes.

I blame Wolf of Wall Street.

  • His fans kept him alive and made him look forward to living.

I could easily imagine him giving up his addictions if he lived for another decade at the very least.

    So no, you're wrong OP.
