are we good or bad by nature? what is morality?
humans are naturally apart of the way of the world and thus divine (good) by nature, thoughts?
We are animalistic, driven by the need to survive.
morals come from religion and philosophy. Stability comes from laws
At our core, our sole goal is to survive and multiply
only .00001% of ppl are good hearted.
the rest only do good hearted things only if it benefits them, or if money is involved.
Humans in general are trash by nature. You can make the argument that it’s because of scarcity or material conditions or whatever, but these conditions arise from nature itself. If we weren’t messed up then there wouldn’t be so many killings, rapes, robberies etc.

i think this percentage is way off, there are way more good hearted people i think, still a smart percentage though
In general, we are, most people act according to what they believe is good or acceptable, the problem it's that everyone has a different definition of what's good/acceptable
I f*** with you name / avy
Griselda forever
Thanks fam. (Dunno how to add faces but here's a bro hug)
we act in our own self interest first and foremost
society as a whole and all the moral codes that resulted from it are an extension of that principle ie strength in numbers/cooperation
Humans are filthy savages, just like all other animals, only difference is we have conscious thought, but at our core we aren’t any different than any other animal trying to survive.

Oh this is great
Individuals differ, we're all capable of both. Due to free will and the nature of our souls, aswell as the effects of our Biochemistry on us
you're getting "conscious" and "mind" mixed
Humans can perceive things greater than themselves, but we’re still just animals at our core
I think we are born good natured. It’s just many things happen to people and they change. Not everyone does
I think neutral more or less. But not all ppl are born the same so it rly depends on alot of factors
I def. Think environment generally overpowers genetics so a positive and benevolent environment is good for society overall.

What defines u as a person is how you respond to your animalistic thoughts and urges
Yes we are animals technically but we have the capacity to be much more than purely instinctual

It's a mixed bag but essentially this tho with a dose of natural empathy and removing the religion part

Nah keep the religion part. Religions morality is secularized.
Fun fact: generosity, mutual aid and compassion are the only reasons we survived as a species

cooperation and compassion is also driven by the need to survive (as a group not as an individual) but it doesn’t make it any less honorable
