Imma need your guys' definition of mid
What’s Next is nice imo
It’s not album material tho (which is why it’s not on the album)
Neither
The leaks aren’t that great and y’all aren’t starving starving would be Kendrick fans or Adele fans fan bases like those rarely get music while drake has been giving features out the ass to keep us fed and that’s still not enough for y’all
that dark lane demo tape aint do it for me
i like the leaks more

or you can compare him to gucci or future there stans eating every other month comparing him to niggas who barely drop music is lame when drake got us used to a new album every year sometimes 2. and he making money of it too he's not doing charity work that we gotta be so grateful
Controversial opinion but the leaks hurt him more than help.
They put a lot of pressure on the album or official releases to be 10x Better
They also show the flaws in the ovo album track selection process like vital missing and summer games making the cut.
They bring out the paid posters and paid off mods who d*** ride everything released or unreleased and have never given an honest opinion on any track that wasn’t a full nut hugger take.

Nothing controversial about this. It's all facts.
Especially the part about many people on here over-hyping any and all leaks they hear simply because they want Drake to drop something. To them, every leak is a hit, a great record or a song that should be on an album. The dishonesty is something else.
I love Drake as much as anyone here does but if I hear something I think is wack or beneath my expectations for the quality of what he should be dropping at this age and stage of his career, I'll call it out. Many people here believe questioning or criticizing anything he does means you're a hater or you're being negative and I'll never understand that.
With that being said, Drake can keep ALL the leaks off the album, even Not Around, because while that's my favorite record from all the leaks, I mostly like the record because of the beat and I really have no interest in hearing him rap about a topic that he's beaten to death at this stage, especially because there's nothing lyrically creative about the subject matter on the record and it's not so special that I couldn't do without it.

I definitely agree that there’s a tendency to kind of gas up anything because we’re ‘starved’ for officially released music by Drake fans’ standards. What’s your verdict on What’s Next? I like it, it’s fun, but I also don’t want it on the album.

This guy gets it
I guess ifs jus my opinion but what’s next is hard asf from the delivery to the flow I love it I can see why y’all might not like it but to me it’s 9/10 if this is a throwaway ?!?! 🥵🥵

I like his flow on the song and I like a couple of bars. Don't like the beat and don't want the song on the album as well.
He also sounds like he's out of breath rapping on the song and he isn't even doing a difficult flow. I could do without that.
